Our Work
These projects come out of a number of conversations that I've had with people from differing backgrounds and diverging viewpoints who all reside in the Moscow-Pullman area. The rift between those who call this place home is in many ways a microcosm of the rift being witnessed on the national stage. Taking a cue from those experiences, and drawing on my academic training and my involvement in local organizations, I see a need in this and other communities to foster an open dialogue that bears witness to and honors those conflicting perspectives while building towards a better future for all of us. Whether we recognize it or not, we're all in this together.
Populi Film Project
2024 is the inaugural year of this ongoing project. No doubt it will be filled with lessons, failures, and some successes. I'll take them. This is all about documenting people — their lives, their issues, their concerns — in all of their richness and their poverty. Stay tuned for more. Our Future
This next year will not only test the social fabric of our country, but the willingness of each of us to see the humanity in the "other." Regardless of the outcome, the best way forward for all of us is to build up communities of support and resilience in the face of those things that would divide us. This incubator project seeks ways to do just that in its own small way.
